Passenger from Kerala arrested with Rs 33.75 lakh worth gold at MIA
Mangaluru, 13 Mar 2021 [Fik/News Sources]: Customs officials at the Mangaluru International Airport have detained a passenger hailing from Kerala who was in possession of 737 grams gold. The arrested man identified as Koppa Mammini Khalid (45) had concealed the gold in a specially designed innerwear. The value of the seized gold is Rs 33,75,470.
The accused had arrived by an Air India flight from Dubai on Saturday morning.
