Bengaluru, 02 Sep 2019 [Fik/News Sources]: Taunting Congress leader Siddaramaiah for his remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister B S Yediyurappa, minister for rural development K S Eshwarappa on Saturday said that he too would have used abusive language against Siddaramaiah had he not been the former chief minister.
“Siddaramaiah has termed Modi as Sullina Saradara (King of Liars), a communal person. He also mocked at chief minister Yediyurappa for wearing a green shawl. Using disgraceful words for Modi, Yediyurappa is not correct. If Siddaramaiah had not been the former chief minister, I too would have abused him,” Eshwarappa told reporters.
He further urged Siddaramaiah instead of launching personal attacks on PM and CM, he could criticize the government functioning when he is in opposition
On the flood deluge in the state, Eshwarappa said that the state government is trying to get maximum grants from the centre and parties should not politicise the issue.
