BJP’s defeating spree starts: Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru, 07 Nov 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Responding to the victory of Congress-JDS coalition candidates in the by-election, former chief minister Siddaramaiah ridiculed that the defeating spree of BJP started from today.

In his series of tweets on Tuesday, Siddaramaiah said that the BJP’s defeating spree started from today and it would continue in 2019 Lok Sabha election too.

Speaking to reporters before this, Siddaramaiah said that he has predicted the victory of Ugrappa in Ballari. He has said that Ugrappa would win by a margin of 2 lakh votes several times as he has understood the pulse of the people in each constituency. It happened in the same way, he said.

Some people have predicted the collapse of the coalition government after the by-election. But their prediction would be proved wrong. The Congress would bounce back in the state. In Lok Sabha election, the Congress would go with the JDS. This victory was a Deepavali gift, he opined.

“I won’t consider the statements of the BJP leaders, because they don’t know anything except lies. They have made the untruth as their capital for accusing others”, he blasted.
