Bhatkal: Car Accidents Caused by Cell Phone Use

Bhatkal, 31 July 2018 [Fik/News Sources]: Due to the negligence of the driver horrible car accident occurred on Bailur cross of  Bhatkal taluka on 30 July, Monday.
According to an eyewitness, the driver was busy with his Mobile phone, then he suddenly lost his control and fell in into the drainage with the depth of about 8 feet. The car was badly damaged but he miraculously escapes from death with minor injuries.
The driver is the residence of Manki and he was going back to his home with his Maruti Omni car from Bhatkal.
There is a need to aware people to avoid the usage of mobile phone while driving. In US Cellphone use causes over 1 in 4 car accidents and in gulf countries, use of mobile while driving causes 80% of accidents.
