Kundapura Shastri Circle flyover to be completed before March 31: NHAI
Kundapura, 29 Feb 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: The National Highways Authority of India has declared that the ten-year old under construction Kundapura Shastri Circle flyover will be ready before March 31. A local resident Vighnesh Shenoy had written about the issue to the Prime Minister and had received a response from the Prime Minister’s Office that the issue has been taken up by the Secretary in the Ministry of Surface Transport and Highways. Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje had inspected the construction work recently. Today, we went out to distribute rations in the small villages of non-Muslims, located off Sagar Road in Bhatkal. As we moved from one place to another, we found that access to one little village had been blocked at its entrance with huge stones, so that Muslims should not come here to show any empathy. One of our non-Muslim friends had accompanied as guide, and he said that last night the villagers had decided that no Muslim should be allowed to enter and strict action would be taken against any Muslim who came here for distribution of rations. Tweet on Tablighi members: ‘Will reply to notice as per rules, says IAS officer
Bengaluru, 03 May 2020 [Fik/News Sources]: A day after the Karnataka government issued a show cause notice to him over his tweet about coronavirus-cured Tablighi Jamaat members donating plasma for treatment of other patients, IAS officer Mohammad Mohsin on Saturday said he will reply to the notice as per rules. “Yes, I have got the notice and shortly I am giving reply as per the rules,” the IAS officer told PTI. Claiming that he had only shared a news item of a private news channel, Mohsin said he has no idea why there is so much outrage over the tweet. “You can’t please everyone all the time,” the officer said in reply to a query whether he saw any conspiracy behind the row.
