Farmer suffers snake bite, rushes to hospital with 'attacker'

Karwar, 23 Sep 2020 [Fik/News Sources]:  They say, you should never hide any details with your doctor. Taking this belief very seriously, Balindra Gowda, a resident of Ambarakodli in Ankola taluk rushed to the doctor after a snake bite.

What was bizarre was that Gowda carried the snake that attacked him, so as to avoid any confusion during course of the treatment!

Gowda was working on his farm when a snake attacked him. Petrified by the same, Gowda first nabbed the snake, put it in a plastic bag and rushed to the local hospital.

This he did because he was sure that the doctors would ask him to identify the species of the snake that attacked him. To avoid the hassle, he carried the 'attacker' along.

Gowda has been asked to remain at the district hospital for a day or two as the snake that bit him was poisonous.
